I hope the warm greetings have been established. Perhaps, now is a good point for me to “share” (That’s code for being “self-absorbed”).
So, the Wife and I decided to move into this beautiful little sea anemone just along the reef… a community population of 1,103. The area’s claim to fame “Cherry Capital of the World”. We have two local competing super markets, one with the only gas station in town. A fire house, pizza pallor, saloon, library and pharmacy. The local elementary school is kind enough to provide after school access to the playground facilities. The residences are kind enough not to destroy the playgrounds. Small town… with small town respectability.
As for the house---- You can check out some pic’s of it coming together

It’s nothing that some would not call “lavish”, nor do I consider it as some do, to be a “tract home”. The house is neither to soft or too hard, I deem it just right. I think its our home. Also, we had been afforded the opportunity to select the lot of land, the elevation (style) and selection of exterior and interior features. The builder (Raymus Homes) is above and beyond great. Raymus Homes; Toni Raymus, Bob Raymus and “The Man” our “Guy” Ryan Bray have and are doing more, than merely building houses.
As for the Waddles--- I enjoy making a humorous comparison of myself to the character Ed Sawyer (The Andy Griffith Show) the mysterious stranger, who arrives in Mayberry and freaks everyone out with his eerie familiarity with the town’s people, events, and things. Perhaps, in time I’ll become the rock throwing, leaping like a nut Ernest T. Bass. For now, I’ll try just being myself.
The one thing that would make life much more enjoyable… would be to have our "City" friends in on the fun. Especially, those that find themselves stuck. In houses, areas, and spaces that they’ve outgrown or never quite fit into from the beginning. Join in. Linden has peace for the mind.

Great post, Brian. Toni Ryamus found this by accident and passed it on to me. She was delighted to hear that you and your family are enjoying your new home.
We truly appreciate the kind words. Much of what the Raymus family has accomplished has been through word-of-mouth. Thank you for your support.
All the best,
Ryan Bray
